Angela Lamprianidou is a Greek choreographer and performer with German and Spanish roots. She studied choreography and new techniques of interpretation at the \u201eInstitut del Teatre\u201c in Barcelona, where she lived for thirteen years (2000-2013). Since 2014 she lives and works in Berlin. During her studies she was awarded the Matricula de Honor in composition, staging and dance history.<\/p>\n

She continued to study dentistry at the Friedrich-Alexander- University of Erlangen. Angela Lamprianidou created in the last 10 years, pieces like \u201eTanz hin Tanz her\u201c, \u201eAppointment on Stage\u201c, \u201eSITz\u201c, \u201eAlihop\u201c, \u201eTongue\u201c, \u201eBack to Emotion\u201c, \u201eand \u201eamong others. She worked at theaters like Mercat de les Flors Barcelona, Teatre National Barcelona, Antic Teatre Barcelona, Ponec Theater Prague and Ballhaus Ost Berlin. Angela Lamprianidou won the following awards \u201eDansa mes a prob\u201c with her piece \u201eSit\u201c and was a finalist of the choreography contest \u201eNo Ballet\u201c in Ludwigshafen. She won the \u201eBaltic Movement Contest\u201c in Gdansk, Poland with the piece \u201eCharles and the others\u201c in collaboration with Mireia de Querol. As a dancer she was recently seen in the production \u201eThe Body memory Opera \u201e, at the Theater in Delphi Berlin September 2021.<\/p>\n

As a lecturer in choreography and performance she works nationally and internationally (2008-2021) at universities and dance schools such as Friedrich Alexander University of Theater and Media Studies in Erlangen, Shonney Center for Arts in Bangalore India, Marameo and Tatwerk Berlin. Her pieces have been shown at festivals such as Fete de la Danse Yverdon Switzerland, Saanfestival Oslo, Musrara Festival Israel, Sommerdanstage Tromp\u00f8 Norway, Booze cooperativa Athens and Mercat de les Flors Barcelona. As a dancer she has collaborated with Carol Brown, Tomeus Verges, Santiago Sampere, Alexandra Rauh, Yago Pericot and Roger Bernat, Selina Th\u00fcring and others.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, she also works in the field of energy healing and holistic view of people and founded her own method You Are The Point in 2018. Her individual career as a dentist, choreographer and yoga -energy coach allows her to put science into practice and share this. \u201eHer Melange a Trois\u201c is a walking inspiration for her art \u201c The only thing that is true is change\u201c Breathing -Movement-Feeling.<\/p>\n

Since 2019, she successfully manages the artist residency HomEmotion in Athens, which she created, collaborating with the theater and gallery Booze Cooperativa, and the artistic collective La Fabrika.<\/p>\n

You are the Point came into being as an artistic project and also takes place in the form of a series of workshops, that I conduct and teach internationally.<\/p>\n

The format encompasses the performative work with the inner self, energy, movement, language and voice.<\/p>\n

The feedback of my participants who stated that I am able to guide humans in a unique way, has inspired me to create a holistic concept of you are the point.<\/p>\n

In the last 2 years I have actively searched for a method that would create an interlinkage of my approach and practice. This search has brought to life a approach that works on several layers and combines all my competences of performative work, dental medicine, and simultaneously integrates my knowledge from numerous training courses.<\/p>\n

The integration of yoga enables a format that operates holistically and places movement as its foundation. Throughout the years I was able to work out several strategies, that are dedicated to various target groups such as Yoga for teeth grinders.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
